High Relief Clay Wall Sculpture

12394_0_edited.jpg

The High Relief Clay Wall Sculpture by Thai folk master artisan Por Liang 10,000 is a monumental, hand-crafted artwork made entirely from natural clay. Composed of three large panels, each piece is individually shaped without molds, making it a one-of-a-kind masterpiece that cannot be exactly reproduced. Por Liang 10,000 is a self-taught folk craftsman whose knowledge comes from lifelong hands-on experience rather than formal training.

His work reflects local wisdom, cultural heritage, and the everyday lives of ordinary Thai people.
The sculptures are carefully dried naturally to prevent cracking, then fired at high temperatures
(900–1,200°C), making them strong and durable for centuries. Though valued at nearly one million baht, their true worth lies in their cultural, spiritual, and educational significance rather than monetary value.
